fussy mother-in-law

For a while, I stayed with my mother-in-law in order to find a shop. His mother-in-law was a vegetable seller. She would come back on time around eleven o'clock every day. Every day when she came back, she would bring back the food of the day. Fish, seafood, cooked food, and vegetables were very rich. I calculated that it would cost quite a bit of money at the end of the day. Although my mother-in-law told me to find a shop at ease and said I didn't have to worry about eating and drinking, I still felt a little guilty after a long time.

This morning, I went to the market to buy pork liver, yellow croaker, crab, and some vegetables. I was afraid my mother-in-law would buy it again, so I called her specially. After my mother-in-law came back, she looked at the vegetables I bought and complained,"I told you not to buy them, but you refused!" Look at this pig liver, the color is dark, obviously yesterday's, how to eat? You look at this yellow croaker again, one look is artificial breeding, soft meat, pungent smell, feed cat is almost the same; and this crab, dry without meat, obviously hungry for several days, eat like chewing bean curd residue.

I was dumbfounded. I didn't expect to be scolded for spending money like this. Mother-in-law looked at me and said, next time don't buy ah, you are not buying vegetables, is wasting money! After she finished speaking, she put the vegetables aside and threw the pork liver, yellow croaker, and crab into the trash can.

I saw this, immediately dumbfounded, that embarrassment ah, this life will never forget. He thought to himself, you are too picky. Although the purchase is not good, it is not enough to throw it away. Since then, I have been eating and drinking for free for more than two months, without buying a dish.

A year has passed, and I have been angry. This day, mother-in-law comes to my home to play, wife calls me to buy a vegetable. When I heard that, I shook my head and couldn't help but say a few sarcastic words. The mother-in-law immediately understood and said, you are still blaming me for throwing away the vegetables you bought, right? I smiled awkwardly. My mother-in-law looked at me and suddenly laughed and said, that's to scare you. After you left, I secretly picked up what I threw away. I was more confused and looked at her. My mother-in-law went on to say that you had just bought a house at that time and were not well off. How could I bear to let you spend more money? So I immediately understood and felt unspeakable.
