The magic mimosa.

Today is the weekend, the season has reached late autumn, red decline, flowers wither, touch the scene, sad lingering, but a ray of bright sunlight through the quiet window lattice direct desk, let me feel warm, get up to pursue the sun, see the balcony long-lost mimosa, memory floodgates such as the tide, suddenly opened, thoughts fluttering, filled with emotion.

I remember that it was in my hometown more than ten years ago. I specially asked for the seeds of mimosa from my friends. I planted it in a row of flower pots in front of the door around Qingming Festival. After a continuous spring rain, it actually sprouted. I was overjoyed. I had to go and have a look almost every day. I watered it by the way and applied fertilizer once a week. My friend said, I treat mimosa as if it were my own child.

The temperature is getting higher and higher, in the blink of an eye, spring has ended, summer quietly arrived, mimosa grow happily, leaves grow densely, verdant, the whole flower pot covered tightly, the door formed a green dam. The long, oval leaves were neatly arranged, standing on reddish petioles like green feathers on bird wings. Its leaves were dark green from above and light green from below, and there were small, unremarkable hairs on its meridians that tickled when touched gently, and it closed up like a shy, intelligent girl, drooping her head deliberately to escape disaster, as if she were dying, looking listless. I had heard that it had this personality, and today I finally saw it. I was ecstatic. I touched the leaf surface with my hand, stomped the ground with my foot, shouted loudly at its leaves at close range, and fanned it fiercely with a banana fan. I tried it in turn, and it was very cooperative every time. I dared not violate it. However, each time it tried, it had to wait at least a few minutes. When the surroundings calmed down, it slowly unfolded the leaves and restored them to their original state. Why does it have such characteristics? With this doubt, I flipped through the relevant books, and it turned out that this was all due to its "inflation effect." At the base of the petiole of Mimosa, there is a cell tissue full of moisture-leaf pillow. As soon as it is touched, the leaf vibrates, and the water in the lower cells of the leaf pillow immediately flows to the upper part and both sides. The petiole naturally droops and closes. When mimosa is stimulated, it transmits information to other leaves, so that the whole mimosa closes and droops.

Before long, the flower bud of mimosa also grew out, round, purple, with needle-like things growing on it. Although it was very beautiful, it was not close to people. A few days later, the flowers bloomed, like a pink big pomelo, and like the fireworks blooming in the time and space of the New Year, gorgeous, the center of the stamen dyed with a touch of crimson, slender petals end is dotted with white, silk strands, the whole flower elegant free and easy, like the jellyfish swimming happily in the sea; also like dandelion small pomelo on land, clusters, clusters, very lovely. I can't help but lower my head and whisper with it. It smells refreshing and touches it. It lowers its head shyly. It seems to be deliberately courteous to others, unlike the arrogant and domineering iron tree.

The weather gradually cool, blink of an eye, autumn arrived, mimosa also some old. The leaves were a little old and yellow, and they were full of fruits. The plump fruits were crowded together, forming fluffy balls. It was as if they were wearing transparent clothes with thorns. If you touch it with your hand, your hand will immediately retract.

In a blink of an eye, winter arrived, mimosa completed its mission, withered, a seed fell to the ground, leaving only the bare dead stem standing alone in the cold wind.

People love mimosa, mostly because of its shy and charming state, but I do not, only love its humility, easy-going, courteous virtue.

I love mimosa, not only love its magical characteristics, but also love its inherent quality, I hope to be a courteous person like mimosa.
