Father's ordinary and great life

My old father was a young man with no mother, a young soldier to eat grain, a young man to cross the river with a gun, a young man to join the factory, an old man to join the mine and retire to return to the city to return to his hometown. He was an upright old man who had experienced many vicissitudes all his life.

As soon as my father landed, he was sent to Yangshengtang for foster care by my grandmother (because my uncle was exactly one year older than my father, so my father was sent to the "health hall" for adoption). My great-grandmother refused (it was said at that time: the second child was smoked), and three days after my father was put into the health hall, he was brought back to be fed by my aunt.

My father came back to live with his great-grandmother when his aunt's parents were seven or eight years old. Then he inherited my second grandfather (that is, my second grandfather's house). In this way, he settled in the second grandfather's house, and naturally became his father's home. Tired and hard from childhood, driving cattle and sheep, collecting firewood and dung, doing everything. At least my grandfather could sew by hand and dragged my father to drive cattle and sheep for Liu Di's family after primary school to support his family. In 1946, my grandparents died one after another. my father was helpless and was not as tall as 38 shots, so he joined the Liberation Army as a soldier to eat food.

As soon as my father became a soldier, he took part in the battle to liberate Yixian County. According to our father, he successively participated in the campaign of liberating Xinzhou, Taiyuan, Xi'an, Baoji, Lanzhou and Tianshui. Then, a few months after suppressing bandits in Sichuan, on October 26, 1950, he valiantly crossed the Yalu River to take part in the war to resist US aggression and aid Korea and defend the country. During the period of aiding Korea, he participated in several major battles. During four battles, he was injured in the leg and hospitalized by an American devil's plane. In 1953, Panmunjom negotiated and delineated the 38th parallel. My father returned home to study at Fuzhou Reserve Officer School, and then transferred to the Shanghai cargo ship transportation department. Because of his low education and ignorance of ABC, he returned to the army and returned to his hometown. When he went home to visit his relatives in July 1956, he married his mother. When he was in the army, my father won eight or nine medals, but he didn't want us to mention the commemorative medals that we had sacrificed our lives to keep in the drawer of the cupboard.

After his father retired from the army and returned to his hometown in October 1956, he actively devoted himself to the construction of his hometown, built the Jingyuan Railway, built the Fandai Reservoir, Xishan Coal Mine served as the excavation captain, worked as the street security director, served as the town's largest militia division commander, the court served as a juror, and the street served as a production leader. No matter he was a high-ranking official or a young official, his father always behaved with a resolute character and was loved by the masses.

Due to the birth of our brothers and the heavy burden of the family, my father was out of breath. At the end of 1965, my father became a worker in Taigang. As a result of the Cultural Revolution, my father, the old revolution, once again had a position to charge the front, always demanded himself according to the standards of a party member, worked frankly, and experienced a major turning point in his life. In order to get me to work, in 1973, when I needed talents in the mine, my father gave up his job as head of the security section and resolutely returned to Ekou, Daixian County, to participate in the construction of the mine. In the construction of the mine, my father worked in various positions with indomitable will. He has worked as a worker and monitor in the production workshop, and has also worked as a logistics worker in the service industry. no matter whether the position is high or low, my father always does everything with a serious attitude and is well received by leaders and workers.

In 1992, his father, who had reached the age of 60, retired from the ranks of workers and returned to his hometown where he was born and raised to begin his old age. When he returned to his hometown, he was also a restless man who took part in street art activities every year and seemed to be brought back to the battle in which he commanded thousands of troops. Instead of being old, he actively participated in the reconstruction of the road surface of the street, took care of the anti-theft work of the autumn harvest, was tired and bent, and his legs were short. But his indomitable momentum remains the same. Every time I went home, I advised him not to take care of these dirty things, but he always disagreed, smiled and perfunctory.

As we grew older, our four brothers grew up one by one, and our father always taught us with strict discipline, and he never let go of every little mistake. He grew up with a low education and did not understand the method of educating us. If our brother made a mistake, he always scolded us with severe discipline, and he didn't even give you a chance to explain. When I was a child, I was the boss of our brother. When the brothers make a mess, I am always the first to be condemned and beaten. Today, when I am also a father, my father's scolding and scolding will always ring in my ears. if it were not for my father's harshness, we would not be upright today. People often say, "A strict father gives birth to a filial son, but his family is poor and ambitious." it is only today that I have a deep understanding.

My father's life is a life of resolute character, a serious attitude, and a life of strict demands on his son. It is an ordinary and great life.

I wish the fathers all over the world a happy spirit and everlasting youth.
