I have just experienced the bad weather of overlord cold wave and wind and snow. although it has cleared up today, it is still cold and cold outside. However, when I came to the Dafeng Hall Gallery, the room was already crowded with guests, and the large billboard standing in front of the foyer proclaimed, "Life and Soul Peng Kai Tian Animals freehand brushwork Exhibition." The opening ceremony and exhibition were attended by provincial and municipal calligraphy and painting circles, collectors, photography circles and calligraphy and painting art lovers, as well as hundreds of scholars and fans who came with different accents from other places. The small exhibition hall is packed, the warm scene is in sharp contrast to the cold wind outside, and the warmth in the exhibition hall is thick. It adds some joy to the painting exhibition before the Spring Festival.

Peng Kaitian is the son of Peng Youshan among the ten elders in Jiangxi. He studied painting from his father when he was young, had a special love for animals, and was good at painting tigers. He published art albums such as "Pengkaitian Tiger and Lion painting Collection", "Soul & bull; creature Peng Kaitian Animals freehand brushwork", "talking about things with crooked neck", "Peng Kaitian Ceramic Art", "Contemporary famous works Collection Peng Kaitian" and so on. He has held many art exhibitions at home and abroad, among which the special program "Hu Mo Yuan Ji freehand Tiger Peng Kaitian" produced for him by the Central Digital TV calligraphy and painting Channel was broadcast in 2009, which was very influential. I came to Nanchang from Shanghai to attend the opening ceremony of the exhibition and visit the exhibition. Mr. Peng Kaitian is wearing a navy blue suit, he is Hale and hearty, flushed, as the chief guest, naturally very busy, his wife also helps to receive all kinds of guests. Taking advantage of the opportunity of the media to interview him, I also joined in. In this exhibition, there are a total of more than 70 masterpieces of Peng Kaitian's East African Wildlife investigation series and various animal freehand brushwork. The subject matter involves: Lions, elephants, wildebeest, macaques, tigers, rabbits, antelopes and other wild animals. Rich in content, unique means of expression, the work is full of deep love for animals from the bottom of the heart, more rich flavor of life.

During the summer vacation, Peng Kaitian and his wife went to six internationally famous wildlife reserves, including Masai Mara, Kenya, and conducted a month-long photography and inspection of Kenya Wildlife Reserve, eating and sleeping every day, wearing stars and moons. all the way close to observe the wildlife habitat, hunting, courtship and migration He photographed and witnessed precious scenes such as hunting by wild dogs, confrontation between wildebeest and cheetah, and hot dance between ostrich couples, and observed and recorded the courtship of lions for hours. They followed a family of elephants all day, observing and recording the details of their foraging, drinking, playing and anger, and gained a more detailed and intuitive understanding of their internal unity and friendship, high vigilance and self-esteem. During this period, there was a near crisis, but it was finally saved. They also followed the migrating wildebeest herd all the way to the famous bank of the Mara River, observed and photographed crocodiles and hippopotamus in the river, and failed to see the thrilling scene of the coveted wildebeest crossing the Mara River due to climate and luck. but the magnificent picture of the migration of millions of wildebeest in the endless grasslands along the river deeply shocked Peng Kaitian. There is a strong impulse to create background scrolls with wildebeest and Mara River as the theme.

Peng Kaitian said: the trip to Kenya will be unforgettable for a lifetime. We rode on the endless prairie in a four-wheel drive off-road vehicle, following the footprints of elephants, lions, cheetahs and other wild animals, and came into close contact with the original natural environment. Extremely cozy and wonderful. However, in order to find a unique source of creation, we must not only endure mosquito bites, but also directly face the beasts close at hand. In Peng Kaitian's works, the domineering figures of lions, bison, elephants, and herds of zebras, antelopes and giraffes are all lifelike. "Mangyuan startled Biao" depicts a brave bison who is unwilling to wait for death when besieged by lions, roaring angrily, raising his horns and hoofs, making the lion of the king of beasts look timid. This work has a vivid picture, profound meaning and urges people to forge ahead.

Peng Kaitian painted tigers, but his father was not confined to his father's artistic personality, which can be said to be different from the blue. His traditional Chinese painting freehand tiger strokes, drawing lessons from calligraphy, wantonly wielding large brushes, the picture is majestic, small strokes are swift and swift, the pen is skillful, the pen and ink is vigorous, the charm is vivid and vivid, and it is full of artistic appeal. He said: the process of drawing a tiger is also a process of searching for the spirit of the tiger. The tiger in my mind is an auspicious animal spirit with warriors, righteous men and gentlemen in one body. It is powerful and self-disciplined, majestic, heroic and stable, self-confident but not frivolous, with unparalleled spiritual temperament such as greatness, masculinity and nobility. After this trip to Africa, he tried to use traditional Chinese painting to show that lions, tigers and leopards live in harmony with each other in the "Sanju Map". Peng Kaitian adheres to the creative idea that art comes from life, that is, Zhuangzi's ability to communicate with the spirit of heaven and earth can be easily found, which is a wonderful meaning.

The inspection brought back tens of thousands of photos, hundreds of videos and a brain full of fresh pictures. Over the past year or so, Peng Kaitian has created more than a dozen series on wildlife in East Africa. Its long time and wide content set a precedent in the domestic art circle, and many themes such as wildebeest, Mara River and ostrich hot dance have also filled the gaps in the art world. After the special reports of provincial and municipal media, the series of creations have attracted the attention and attention of the art, photography and animal protection circles. Under the influence of the current ideological trend of worship of money, many works of art have become more and more far away from the source of life, and many artists have become more impetuous, utilitarian and practical. Photos take the place of life, and the studio is heaven and earth, emphasizing production and neglecting life. at a time when this atmosphere is becoming more and more common, Peng Kaitian's view of the immortal works of nature is like a clear spring flowing from his chest. The audience unanimously praised and affirmed Peng Kaitian's artistic creation attitude of advocating nature, going deep into life and keeping his feet on the ground. For this group of works imbued with the author's hard work and unique artistic style, they all feel the shock of the soul and the enjoyment of art.

These vivid pictures are novel, unique and breathtaking, which shocked and moved me. Peng Kaitian's image immediately appears more majestic, plump and full of blood in my mind. As the saying goes, he is painted like a man. He is the closest friend I have had since I went to college. He is warm-hearted, kind-hearted and decent in doing things. During the university, as the eldest brother in the class and the top professional talent, each of us received his assistance and love. He is elegant, funny, humorous and talkative. Wherever he goes, he takes happiness, laughter and talkbox with him. After going to work, a classmate comes to Nanchang on business and travel. No matter how busy he is, he will take the time to welcome him back and forth. He is also happy to see the success of the professional development and progress of his classmates and friends. His thoughts are profound and wise, and his observation and analysis of things are to the point. He made full use of his identity as a national party to make suggestions and plans for the revitalization and development of Jiangxi's cultural and artistic undertakings. He is a husband, compassionate, respectful, and accompanying his wife; as a father, he pays attention to the formation and cultivation of children's character, self-cultivation, and independent ability; as a son, he is a filial son who pours unlimited love and comfortable accommodation to his 90-year-old mother. the care of daily life and the adjustment of the mood of the elderly are all meticulous. In this exhibition, the host presented beautifully printed picture albums to every guest and audience, basically including most of the classic works in the exhibition. I plan to go back to Shanghai and read it carefully. Seeing many people scrambling to get Peng Kaitian to sign autographs, I also seized an opportunity to take a group photo with Kaitian as a souvenir, and then he signed the album he sent me: thank you, brother Chen.
