Writing is actually no

Although I am afraid of avoiding a kind of article, I am occasionally "spoiled" by leading comrades as a "literati". When the new building is completed, let's write an inscription similar to the ancient "inscription". When the military training is over, send a pennant to the local troops and draw up two words for the pennant. and so on. I have always felt shamelessly that I should be rewarded for my hard work and hard work, but it is a pity that in the eyes of leading comrades, my writing is easy and entertaining.

Their attitude represents, at least in part, the popular view of the general society on the behavior of "writing". Especially for grass-roots writers like me, the "labor" nature of our writing is actually very ambiguous and suspicious in the eyes of many people.

But today I still want to say that writing is not only a kind of labor, but also a kind of creative work, which is incomparable to simple manual labor. Simple labor is only "copying" what already exists in the world; every "product" produced by writing is something that does not exist in this world, so writing is here for the "creator". Many people regard writing as fun or entertainment, and the key word for entertainment and fun is relaxation, but in this sense, writing is not fun because it is not easy to speak of. In other words, even if writing is a kind of "fun", it is also a special pleasure, which can not be compared with playing cards and singing.

Feng Youlan's words as a "senior writer" can be said to be deep in writing Samadhi: "according to my experience, doing something creative is the most likely to feel tired. Whether it is writing an article or writing a word, you have to concentrate all your energy to do it. These things may be irrelevant, but they all need to be done with full life. " Feng Youlan's words can explain two points that have always puzzled me, one is the "tiredness" that is difficult to speak to others during and after writing, and the other is why a lot of simple work can be done at the same time while doing other things (such as listening to music or chatting). While writing articles is not, it all because writing "requires full life to do".

In general, there is a misunderstanding of writing behavior in society. In China, the literati has become a profession and the establishment of the corresponding copyright and fee system lags far behind that of the West. Li Li-Weng was an early Chinese scholar who advocated copyright patents. He wrote a short postscript saying, "No one is allowed to reprint. I have already issued a notice and warned it at the beginning." If there is a monopoly, or publish it according to the style, or increase or decrease one or two, or slightly change its shape, that is, those who take the merits of others as their own, eat their profits and obliterate their names, that is, people like Zhongshan wolves. " More famous is Mr. Banqiao's self-engraved poem preface: "if there is a copy of the name, the usual boring entertainment will be changed into rotten, I will be a fierce ghost to hit its brain." There was a period when copyright consciousness sprouted in the Qing Dynasty, but whether it was Li Yu in the early Qing Dynasty or Zheng Kui in the middle of the Qing Dynasty, they could only use evil words or prayers, and there was no way to support them.

From the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, the copyright and fee system in China was gradually mature and complete. Since the reform and opening up, the copyright and remuneration system has been gradually restored, but perhaps due to the role of historical inertia, has maintained a very low standard of remuneration. However, the solution to the problem of manuscript fees can only be handed over to the market, which requires two prerequisites: one is to have professional literati who depend on manuscript fees and royalties; the other is to have market-oriented media. It is true that Chinese writers are spectacular, but at least 80% of them are not professional literati, which is probably a rare phenomenon in the world. It goes without saying that amateur writers like me have a living to earn a living; even professional writers, as national "writers and artists", probably belong to a certain unit in terms of establishment and receive a salary from the unit. As for the marketization of the media, we can only hope that it is the direction of the next round of press and publishing system reform.
