My grandpa

Grandpa's love grew up with me.

Grandpa's love never left.

Mother, why does Grandpa live in our house while Grandma lives in Uncle's?

My mother told me: grandpa and grandma always quarrel, grandma lives in uncle's house, grandpa lives in our house, in order not to let them quarrel.

When I was a child, Grandpa lived in a grass hut in front of my uncle's house. Maybe it was because my uncle's house was overturned by Grandpa's old house, otherwise Grandpa wouldn't have built a thatched shed there. When I was a child, I often went to Grandpa's hut (Grandpa's home). It was really small and could only hold a single bed, leaving room for only one person to turn around. The walls were made of sorghum sticks and covered with mud. The roof is made of straw. At that time, electricity was not yet popular enough to go door to door. In Grandpa's little house, only a homemade kerosene lamp gave off a faint light. In summer, my grandfather lit a self-made moxa rope to drive away mosquitoes. I sat at the head of my grandfather's bed and listened to my grandfather tell stories in low light.

There is no memory of winter in that thatched cottage. Perhaps, the severe cold in winter made the thatched cottage so difficult to resist that I didn't go to Grandpa's thatched cottage in the cold winter.

When I go to school, my grandfather lives in our house. Every day after school, I can always eat the hot meal cooked by my grandfather. In my memory, my mother is not as good as my grandfather in cooking. Tofu rolls, twistbread, single cakes, dough bumps, and so on, many do not know how to use words to present, grandpa has cooked for me to eat, the family is very poor, poor ingredients, but grandpa can always make a lot of tricks for us to eat.

From the beginning of memory, Grandpa's waist was bent, so the crutch in my memory never left Grandpa's side. Similarly, Grandpa also went to the 30-mile market 10 miles away to go to the market.

In summer, Grandpa always goes to the river to cut the long, thin weeds. He goes home to dry them and make them into grass ropes. The handfuls of weeds, in Grandpa's hands, turned into thin, strong and beautiful grass ropes. Grandpa went to the market and sold the grass rope he made with his own hands. when he came back, Grandpa would buy good sunflower seeds for my brother and me every time. I don't remember that Grandpa bought some for himself. A hunched old man, a journey of more than 20 miles back and forth, Grandpa, you are so great.

When I was a child, I was more playful. At that time, no one mentioned personal hygiene. After playing with mud, I could eat without washing my hands. Therefore, it was inevitable to have roundworms in my stomach. Every time I ate after school, I had a severe stomachache. When I get home, I will call Grandpa and tell Grandpa that I have a terrible stomachache. Grandpa sat on the bench and asked me to lie down on his knee and twist the flesh on his back with my hands. At first, it hurt, slowly, comfortably, and my stomach was also comfortable. Then Grandpa would give me the cooked garlic steak. Although I still had a stomachache later, it was really comfortable at that time.

When I grew up, I often got drunk, which was more painful than worms in my stomach. Grandpa also let me lie on his knee, wring the flesh of my back with his hands, hard, hard, wine can paralyze nerves, have pain-relieving effect, but the pain that grandpa passed on to me is really painful, let me know that there is love and hate in it. Love is heartache, it hurts me when I am drunk. Hate is angry, angry that I am not sensible, do not know how to cherish themselves. Now come to think of it, the pain is so kind. If in winter, Grandpa would still get ice cubes to put on the palm of my hand, the effect would be really good. Grandpa is three years old in his nineties this year. I'm afraid he can't have that kind of strength anymore. Ah, but I still drink a pot from time to time.

When I came home during the Spring Festival, Grandpa's deafness was already very severe. Sometimes, I lay in his ear and told him that it was difficult for him to hear clearly. Grandpa's hunchback is getting worse, but Grandpa is still in good health, and even minor colds are rare. Father and mother are sometimes busy with work and cooking, which are done by grandpa. Thank you, Thanksgiving time, although Grandpa stooped early, but gave him a healthy body.

With this alone, I wish Grandpa good health and a long life.
